The Skiff Coffee Table is built from recycled village wood on a sealed steel base. The natural finish on the steel keeps the piece open and bright rather than heavy — closer to the raw material than painted or powder-coated alternatives.
Village wood’s tonal variation runs across the tabletop surface: pale gold, warm amber and occasional deeper bands that record the timber’s previous life. The surface is treated for everyday use, but the material’s character is preserved rather than standardised.
