At close range this is a mirror; from across the room it reads as a piece of wall sculpture — the swirling silver frame and asymmetric mirrored segments doing considerably more than simply reflecting light.
The frame here is the main event. A series of sweeping curves flow around each other in a layered composition, with carefully placed creases that accentuate the lines as they move. The result is something that reads almost like an abstract sculpture on the wall — with the reflective glass set into the resulting asymmetric spaces, catching light and shifting slightly with every change in the room.
The silver polyurethane finish keeps it looking sharp and polished without being ostentatious.
