The convertible design is the Alton pendant’s most practical feature. With tall ceilings it hangs as a proper pendant with real presence; in rooms where height is tighter, it converts to a semi flush fitting and sits comfortably just below the ceiling. One fitting, two configurations.
The opal glass shades give a soft, even spread across all three bulbs, avoiding the hotspot effect you can get with clear or exposed glass. Antique brass plate, dimmable, LED compatible — the basics done very well. Matching wall lights and ceiling fittings available in the Alton range.
