Darwen Furniture and Gifts (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates online and in-store in the United Kingdom. We sell home furniture, décor, and custom orders. By placing an order online or in-store, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

3. Orders and Payments
  • Orders may be placed in store or online.
  • Online payments: card only. In-store payments: cash or card.
  • All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • Custom orders may require a deposit or full payment and are non-refundable unless faulty or not as described.
4. Delivery
  • Deliveries are made via Royal Mail, courier, or our local delivery team.
  • Costs and estimated times are shown at checkout or confirmed at point of sale.
  • We are not liable for delays outside our control (e.g., courier issues, weather).
  • Risk passes on delivery; ownership passes once payment is received in full.
5. Returns and Refunds

We comply with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Online Orders
  • You may cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving the goods.
  • Notify us within that period; return items in original condition/packaging.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return.
  • Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or not as described.
In-Store Purchases
  • Refunds/exchanges where goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise required by law.
  • For non-faulty items, refunds are at our discretion unless required by law.
Custom Orders
  • Custom/personalised items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation period unless faulty or not as described.
6. Product Information

We aim for accurate descriptions, colours, and dimensions. Minor variations may occur due to display settings or manufacturing tolerances.

7. Liability
  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
  • This does not exclude liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
8. Warranty and Product Guarantees

Any product warranties/guarantees are provided separately and are in addition to your statutory rights.

10. Governing Law
